Check out another new painting I did about a month ago.

Starting it Again.

I have barely touched a brush in the last couple of months

and though I try to make excuses for myself,

there is no. good. reason.

I started a painting a couple of months ago,

applied the first coat of colors and told myself I would continue later.

It never happened.

So I start a class on Thursday.

with a goal to finish this painting in a week.

And I'm giddy about it.

It's like I need to do this.

And when it's done,I am going to hand deliver it.

So if in a week, I have not updated you on the progress of this painting,

please reprimand me. MAKE ME FINISH IT.

Then I can start on the series of paintings I have been dreaming up for months.

and hopefully impress you.

Brain Farts

I have been slacking a little bit on my art lately. I have stacks of white canvases begging me to use them and abuse them.

And you're going to laugh, but I am a little bit scared of them right now.

I think I just have a brain fart. I really want to do something a little different; take my art into a new direction. And I have ideas, there is no problem getting those. It's just my brain; it has problems.

So this weekend I plan on putting those ideas unto convases and see what I come up with. It's been a couple of months since I did my last piece and my hands are starting to need some action.
