This weekend I was invited to a Tamalada.
As you see from the pictures, it is a party
where you learn to make a ton of tamales
and then stuff your face with them.
and chips and guac.
and beans and rice.
Obviously, I went. and ate. and ate. and ate.
Last time I attempted anything like this,
was about 8 years ago with the same family.
I'm so happy to still know them.
The baby likes tamales.

Oooo...tamales! They look so good!! That's so fun you guys had a party to make them!! You look so cute in the picture.
I tried my first one this year. The kids at schools parents make them for us!
