I need help

People.
I can no longer sleep.
And when I do, I wake up crying from the pain in my back.
So for those of you that have been pregnant and might know
what I'm talking about,
PLEASE HELP ME.
I was having problems with my siatic nerve, but have been putting a hot pad on it every night and has only gotten better.

But sleeping has made the middle of my back super soar and I
wake up crying every morning from the pain.
I have taken tylenol.
I have put a hot pad on it.
I raise my feet up every morning while crying to try and make it feel better.
I sleep with a sea of pillows all around me.

I have tried it all.
nothing has helped.
Please help a woman in need.

I am so sorry that you are going through all this. I have suffered from some pains too and what has helped me a lot is to try to sleep on my left side as much as possible(I say that because it is not an easy thing for me to do - I love sleeping on my back). Try stretching every morning, this has not only helped me sleeping better at nights but also has helped me with some cramping throughout the day. Try an exercise ball. I hope things get better for you and the baby. Remember that it is all worth it!

Jessica, I had the same problem!! Call me and I'll tell you about what I did that helps. It seriously makes all the difference!! It is actually a really common pregnancy issue thing with the sciatic nerve. Because your body is moving your bones to make more room for your baby (especially in your pelvis area) and it can lock up your sciatic. NO Pain reliever helps, believe me. It doesn't even touch it. Here was a post I did about it way back when. http://kennedykartel.blogspot.com/2007/10/im-old-and-in-pain.html
But seriously call me! 801-722-4697 I'll even come up if you need!! :) I'm so sorry!!

Thanks guys for all of your help! Danielle, I will call you today! I went to the doctor yesterday and he gave me a bunch of exercises to do every day for the next two weeks along with Tylenol right before I go to bed and let's hope that helps!

You don't know me but I know Melissa. My recommendation is water aerobics. It takes the weight off and gives your bady the chance to stretch without putting more pressure where it hurts. Congratulations and Good luck! You'll have a blast raising your famly!
