Planting a Little Love in Our Front Yard.

This weekend we went on a lunch date and bought flowers.

We then proceeded to pretend to know how to plant them.

We got our hands and knees dirty, and they look funny.

But I think we already love them.

I might have even talked to them a little;

rule #1 for having pretty flowers in my book.

And I can't make you any promises yet,

but they seemed to really like the sound of my voice.
